The 4 C's Excursions is a boutique travel agency specializing in immersive and culturally rich travel experiences. We provide tailored itineraries, educational travel coordination, and group travel logistics for individuals, schools, and organizations.

We work with individual travelers, small groups, corporations, and large educational institutions.
Where do you plan trips?
We curate exceptional travel experiences worldwide, with specialized expertise across Latin America, Africa, and Asia. Through a trusted network of vetted cultural ambassadors, guides, and local partners in more than 50 countries, we help clients experience destinations with greater authenticity, insight, and ease.
Our team has extensive firsthand planning and destination experience in markets such as Ghana, South Africa, Nigeria, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, Jamaica, Mexico, Colombia, Panama, and France. This allows us to provide stronger recommendations on accommodations, transportation, cultural etiquette, dining, excursions, and overall trip flow.
For destinations outside our core specialty regions, we still offer planning support through carefully selected partners and thorough research. We believe in transparency and always communicate when a location is outside our primary area of expertise, while maintaining the same high standards of service, preparation, and client care.

How much do your services cost?
We offer:

Custom Itinerary Planning: $150 for itineraries under 14 days

Full Planning + Booking: 15% of total costs + $100 service fee (for individuals and small groups)

School Group Packages: Custom quotes are provided after consultation

Add-Ons: Dedicated photographer, visa assistance, 24/7 trip support, etc.
What is the timeline for planning and delivering my trip?
The timeline depends on how far in advance you contact us and the length of your trip. We require at least 14 days before your travel date to plan a custom itinerary. For trips requested 7–13 days in advance, a rush fee applies. Timely client responses and clear preferences help us deliver faster.
Delivery of your final itinerary varies based on trip duration:

1–7 day trips: ready within 8 days

30+ day trips: ready within 21 days
Do you charge extra for last-minute planning?
Yes. If travel is within 14 days:
7–13 days before travel: +10% expedited fee (for full bookings) or $50 (for itinerary only)
Less than 7 days: Planning is not guaranteed but may be considered case-by-case

Am I responsible for my bookings?
Once we’ve provided the itinerary and confirmed bookings:

You are responsible for flight/hotel check-ins

For tours not led by The 4 C's Excursions, you must reach out directly to tour operators for any activity changes or support

The 4 C's Excursions is not responsible for third-party changes, cancellations, or customer service unless tour operation services were explicitly contracted
What if I want to cancel a booking?
Clients are responsible for contacting the vendors (hotels, tour companies, airlines) directly. We always aim to select options with cancellation/change protection.
CUSTOMIZATION & SURVEYS
Can I choose the type of accommodation I want?
Yes. In our consultation, we ask about your preference (Airbnb, hotel, vacation rental, etc.) to ensure alignment with your travel style.
How do you choose activities and tours?
We base selections on your interests, group needs, and what's culturally relevant in the destination. Activities and tours are vetted by staff and local cultural ambassadors based on safety, reviews, and overall relability. When working with students, we send a detailed survey to faculty to share with them.
What if I’m traveling to a new destination The 4 C's Excursions hasn’t been to?
We believe in full transparency and will always let you know when a destination falls outside our core specialty regions. Through our trusted network spanning 50+ countries, we are often able to connect clients with experienced local travel professionals, cultural ambassadors, and reliable in-country partners who can enhance the planning process and on-ground experience.
We conduct thorough research, vet accommodations and providers carefully, and apply the same planning standards we use across all destinations. However, in newer or less familiar markets, certain variables may be outside our direct control. While we work diligently to deliver a seamless experience, specific outcomes cannot be guaranteed in regions where we do not have longstanding operational history.

SUPPORT & CONTACT
Do you offer in-trip support?
Yes. For trips that include a 4 C’s Cultural Ambassador, we provide dedicated in-trip support throughout the duration of your journey to help with coordination, guidance, local insight, and resolving unexpected issues as they arise.
For itinerary-only bookings, optional 24/7 on-trip support is available for an additional fee. This service provides access to assistance during your travels for schedule adjustments, logistical questions, recommendations, and travel-related problem solving.
